My first time on a sailboat was a bareboat charter in the Caribbean. I was a guest — someone else handled the planning, the route, the anchorages. I just showed up and fell in love with sailing.

Years later I was on the other side — skippering charters in Greece, running my own boat, dealing with the industry firsthand. I saw guests arriving excited but unprepared. Which anchorages are sheltered? Where do we refuel? What do we do on day three? The booking platforms got them the boat, but nobody gave them the knowledge to make the most of it.

Meanwhile, as an owner, I was drowning in calendar management across platforms, juggling bookings, and watching the same problems repeat every season.

So I built everything a charterer needs — and everything an operator needs — in one place.

I built the platform I wished existed when I started chartering my own boat.

One Platform, Two Experiences

For Boat Operators

  • One dashboard for all platforms - Real-time calendar sync across MMK, Nausys, and iCal. No more double bookings.
  • Automated pricing sync - Pricing from your booking platforms stays up to date automatically.
  • Guest communication in one place - Messages, booking requests, and AI-assisted responses.

For Guests

  • Everything you need - From boat selection to local anchorage guides to booking, all in one place. Bareboat or skippered.
  • Know before you go - 80,000+ local spots linked to every marina — restaurants, anchorages, fuel docks, and hidden gems.
  • Real-time availability - Synced across booking platforms and owner calendars. If it says available, it is.

How We Think About Destinations

Most sailing platforms treat destinations as pins on a map. We built something different: a hub and spoke model that mirrors how sailors actually experience a voyage.

How It Works

1
Hubs - Overnight stops - marinas, harbors, anchorages, and moorings. Places where you tie up or anchor for the night.
2
Spokes - Points of interest near each hub - restaurants, beaches, fuel stations, grocery stores. Each knows its distance and walking time from the hub.
3
Routes - Connect hubs with realistic sea distances and weather impacted by coastlines.

This lets you explore destinations the way you'll actually experience them: arrive at a marina, discover what's nearby, plan your evening, and know exactly how far the next stop is.

What's Inside

10,000+ sailboats and catamarans with real-time availability. 80,000+ restaurants, anchorages, fuel docks, and hidden spots linked to 19,000+ marinas. Destination guides with honest, practical knowledge. An AI assistant that answers with real boat data. And calendar sync across the systems charter companies actually use.

We started in the Mediterranean — Greece, Croatia, Italy, France, Turkey — but are growing worldwide.

Free Sea Routing

Sailing distances have been locked behind paywalls. We built a free routing tool for planning and estimates - available to every skipper.

Relevant Locations

Marinas, anchorages, restaurants, fuel docks - all from OpenStreetMap. We connect every stop to the places around it.

Mermaid AI

An AI assistant that answers your questions with real boat data, availability, and destination knowledge — not canned responses.

Standing on the Shoulders of Giants

Charter Boats wouldn't exist without the open source community and open data initiatives. We're grateful to:

Charter with Confidence

Whether you're a boat owner looking for a better way to manage charters, or a guest planning your next sailing adventure — bareboat or skippered, Mediterranean or beyond — we built this for you.
