Brill Anchorage

Drop the hook off Brielle (the historic spelling), a beautifully preserved 16th-century fortified town that sits right on your doorstep here on the Brielse Meer. The town's intact ring of ramparts, cobbled streets, and the striking Sint-Catharijnekerk make it worth rowing ashore for a proper explore. This is one of the better-known anchorages in the sheltered inland sea of Voorne aan Zee, offering calm, protected waters well away from the chop of the North Sea.
