Anse des Soux

Anse des Soux is one of the most beautiful spots on Île-d'Yeu — drop anchor off this wild, tucked-away cove on the island's southeastern coast and you'll find turquoise water that looks almost Caribbean. The beach itself is small, so you'll want to time your visit outside peak summer crowds to really enjoy it. Access from land is tricky, which means arriving by sea is actually the best way in.
