Cala Macarella

Drop anchor in one of Menorca's most jaw-dropping coves — Cala Macarella is a horseshoe-shaped bay framed by sheer limestone cliffs and thick pine forest tumbling down to the water's edge. The turquoise water is startlingly clear and the white sand beach onshore is as fine as it gets in the Mediterranean. It genuinely looks too good to be real, so give yourself plenty of time here to swim and soak it in.
