Cala Roja

Cala Roja — 'Red Cove' — gets its name from the striking rust-red volcanic cliffs that frame the anchorage, making it one of the more visually dramatic spots along the coast. You drop the hook in calm, clear water and swim straight to the rocky shoreline, where the geology alone is worth the visit. It's raw and unhurried, with no beach crowds or development — just you, the red rock, and remarkably good snorkelling around the base of the cliffs.
