Echtenerbrug

Echtenerbrug is a quietly charming village in the Dutch province of Friesland, where you can anchor off and take in the flat waterland scenery of De Fryske Marren. The big draw nearby is Tjeukemeer, one of Friesland's largest lakes, and the village itself has a handful of local spots worth exploring on foot. With around a thousand people in the area, it's small but not empty — enough to grab what you need without any fuss.
