Hjartøya
Hjartøya is a wild, uninhabited island at the entrance to Nordfolda fjord, abandoned since 1963 and left almost entirely to nature. You anchor off here and have the place to yourself — quiet, raw, and completely unhurried. The Lule Sami name Jarta hints at the deep history of these waters, even if there's little left on shore to show for it.
