Kistskäret Anchorage

Kistskäret is a sheltered anchorage tucked among the skerries of the Hitis archipelago in Aboland, where you drop the hook and let the raw Finnish island scenery do the rest. The low rocky islets and calm channels give it a genuinely remote feel, even though the broader Hitis area has a scattering of small communities within reach by dinghy. The holding is generally good, and the surrounding landscape of bare granite and windswept pines is classic southwestern Finland at its best.
