Low Bay

Drop the hook in firm sand in around 3m and you'll likely have miles of pink-tinged white beach almost entirely to yourself — Barbuda's legendary emptiness is very real here. Low Bay sits well-protected from the easterly trades, making for a calm, settled night. Local fishermen swing by in their boats and will sell you a fresh lobster straight off the water, which is about as good as it gets. To get ashore, use your own dinghy or hail a water taxi across the lagoon to reach Codrington village.
