Playa de Ciparsa

Playa de Ciparsa is a 720-metre stretch of white sand on the Huelva coast near Palos de la Frontera, where you drop anchor and dinghy ashore into one of the quieter corners of this historic coastline. The beach sits in the same municipality that dispatched Columbus's fleet in 1492, so there's real history in the air if you wander inland toward the town. The sand is clean and fine, the crowds thinner than the bigger resort beaches nearby.
