Playa de las Azucenas

Playa de las Azucenas is a 1.6km stretch of dark sand sitting between the harbour of Motril and the small coastal town of Torrenueva Costa — you anchor off and come ashore to a wide, easygoing beach with very shallow water that stays calm and gentle. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax, with the beach roughly 30 metres deep and backed by basic facilities including showers and chiringuitos nearby.
