Port de Ferrières (SEMOVIM)

Port de Ferrières, also known as Port Maritima, is a dry-stack marina tucked along the southern bank of the Canal de Caronte, sandwiched between a railway viaduct and a motorway overpass — an industrial-chic setting that's very much Martigues. It holds up to 800 boats under 15 metres, making it one of the larger dry-storage operations in the area. Martigues itself is worth exploring, often called the 'Venice of Provence' for its colourful waterside districts and canal scenes.
