Porto di Mondello Small Harbour

This small harbour sits in the charming fishing village of Mondello, tucked between Palermo's urban sprawl and some of Sicily's most beautiful coastline. It's a shallow-water port built for small motorboats, so leave the sailboat behind — but if you're coming by dinghy or a compact powerboat, you'll find a laid-back, local atmosphere a world away from the big city marinas. The nearby beach of Mondello is one of Palermo's most iconic, and the Capitaneria di Porto is right on hand. Anchoring in the roadstead is also an option if you want a protected spot offshore.
