Spiaggia Scari is a striking black lava pebble beach where you anchor off and swim in water that shifts from turquoise to deep indigo depending on the light. The volcanic shoreline gives it a raw, otherworldly feel that's hard to find anywhere else in the Med. It's a relaxed spot with easy access for a swim, and the surrounding Aeolian landscape makes it well worth the stop.
