Trintelhaven

Trintelhaven is a marina on the Markermeer side of Lelystad, tucked close to the wild and newly formed Markerwadden nature islands — one of the more unusual backdrops you'll find at a Dutch marina. It has a genuinely remote feel despite being easy to reach, and the proximity to Markerwadden makes it a great base if you want to explore that rewilded archipelago by dinghy or kayak. The surrounding Flevoland landscape — flat, open, and reclaimed from the sea — adds to the sense that you're somewhere a little off the beaten track.
