Yachting Merelbeke is a water sports association with its own marina on the Scheldt, open to both members and visiting yachts and motor boats alike. From here, Ghent is right on your doorstep — just follow the Scheldt upstream and you're sailing straight into one of Belgium's most beautiful cities. The club's focus is cruising, so you'll find a relaxed, like-minded crowd rather than a racing scene.
