Gradski muzej

This charming local museum, officially known as Gradski muzej Mirko Komnenović, is housed in a building that once belonged to one of Herceg Novi's most celebrated honorary citizens. It's an endowment from Mirko and Olga Komnenović, which gives it a personal, community-rooted character you won't find in state-run institutions. Inside, you can trace Herceg Novi's history spanning three centuries, from its Ottoman and Venetian past right through to modern times.
