Boataround restarted its yacht charter affiliate program in August 2026. Here are their terms, from their own offer email, next to ours as verified in our code on 24 August 2026. No spin: where they win, the row says so.

The number that matters first. Charter.boats pays you 30% of our service fee on every booking under 10 bookings, 40% from 10 to 20, and 50% from 20 bookings on — the step-up happens automatically the moment a booking completes. Boataround pays 20% of their commission until 10 bookings, 30% to 24, 40% to 49 and 50% only at 50 and above. You reach the top of our ladder with 20 bookings; theirs takes 50. In euros, one booking on charter.boats is typically 100 to 300 euros in your account.

One thing to be straight about: Boataround's catalogue is about twice the size of ours. Languages are not a win for either side, just two approaches: they translate the site into 30 languages and staff a care team; we run Mermaid, an AI that answers every guest in the language they write, on the site, in chat and by email. We tested it in Chinese and it came back with 149 catamarans and weekly prices.

Everything Else Favours You

You reach 50% at 20 bookings, not 50. You are paid per booking, not once a quarter. A 180-day cookie fits how charters are actually bought: people watch in January and book in April, and a 21-day window hands most of those bookings to whoever gets the last click. For comparison, Boatsetter and SamBoat run 30-day cookies and Booking.com runs 2. And you can see clicks and checkouts in week one, so you know whether a placement works long before the first booking lands.

Give Us a Shot

Put one link or one banner where your Boataround link sits today, run it for a season, and compare what actually reached your account. Getting the link takes a minute, with your banners, widget embed and reporting on the same page. Creators and publishers who want the 180-day window can ask for it from there.

  1. Sign in to charter.boats
  2. Open charter.boats/settings/referrals
  3. Pick your slug
  4. Your link is live, with banners, widget embed and reporting on the same page
