Lakki Bay

You'll find yourself in one of the Mediterranean's most natural harbors, surrounded by the remarkable Italian-planned architecture of Lakki from the 1930s. This deep, protected bay showcases fascinating Rationalist buildings that remain largely undisturbed since the Italian occupation, creating an unexpectedly cosmopolitan atmosphere on this Dodecanese island. The town was originally called Portolago until 1947, and today serves as Leros's main port with excellent shelter and infrastructure.
