Nisyros Port

Pali is the only harbour on Nisyros suitable for yachts, and since the entrance was reoriented in 2007, the shelter here has improved considerably. The setting is hard to beat — you're on a small volcanic island with a dramatic caldera just a short trip inland, and the village of Pali itself has tavernas and basic shops within easy reach. If you're passing through the Dodecanese between Rhodes and Kos, this is a worthwhile stop to explore one of the more unusual islands in the group.
