Uvala Stončica

Stončica is a sandy beach bay on the eastern side of Vis island, about three nautical miles from Vis town — rare for the Dalmatian coast, where pebble and rock dominate. You anchor off and come ashore to find a restaurant right beside the beach, plus a lighthouse marking the headland at the bay's entrance. The setting is open and unhurried, with a backdrop of low Mediterranean scrub and clear, calm water.
