About this boat
With a crew running the boat, everyone just shows up and settles into short, easy hops between Argolic and Saronic harbours, tavernas an easy stroll away each evening. Radar aboard adds a margin of confidence for the crew when the afternoon breeze picks up further south.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Not personally — a skipper comes with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Tucked into the Bay of Navarino, Pylos Marina fits up to 129 yachts (up to 30m) right along the waterfront of one of Greece's most historically loaded towns — site of the legendary 1827 Naval Battle of Navarino. Read more →
When is the best time to sail in Greece?
April–October, hot and dry with the strong northerly Meltemi wind peaking in July–August, especially across the Cyclades.
