Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~75 HP engine burn roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €246 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

You can sail the Saronic Gulf and the Cyclades, and in some cases the Ionian Sea with our written consent. Sailing in the Cretan Sea or to the island of Crete is not allowed.

Please don't leave a port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be over force 6 on the Beaufort scale, if the harbour authorities have banned sailing, or if the boat has unrepaired damage or low fuel. When conditions or safety are in any doubt, stay put.

Night sailing isn't allowed except in an emergency, so please plan your passages to arrive in daylight.

Yes. We may take a short sail with you to assess your competence, and if we're not satisfied we can place an experienced seaman aboard at your expense, set sailing limits, or ask you to return to base. We may also require this for safety reasons during the charter.

The yacht is for your private pleasure only, not racing, regattas or professional crew training. Towing another craft is only allowed in an emergency and with our written consent, and you can't sublet the boat or carry anyone not on the crew list without our agreement.
